Cooking is something that Inger and I both love so it is only natural that the boys want to join in as well. I decided to teach the boys how to make shortbread cookies. They were VERY excited. We ran through the whole process with play dough first.
Pure bliss!
The boys were involved every step of the way, learning about the different ingredients, sifting the flour, using the electric hand mixer to combine the flour and butter, kneading and rolling out the dough and lastly cutting out the shapes with cookie cutters. They did so well!
Ta Da! Into the oven went the cookies. They came out all crisp and golden and we all enjoyed cookies and milk for afternoon tea.
