Teddybears' picnic

Yesterday afternoon was the perfect afternoon for a Teddybears' Picnic. It was cold, wet and blustery outside. I rang Margaret and invited she and her girls to the picnic. As you can see the teddies were waiting in eager anticipation for their cupcakes!

It wasn't long before everything was in disarray. All of the teddies became a bit unruly. A small orange teddy knocked his banana smoothie flying. Just beside Oliver you can see a floral cloth teddy which was made by my mother nearly 15 years ago for Kate's imminent birth. Kate has kept 'Mrs Brownlee' all of these years.

After the picnic the boys enjoyed playing with Kate and Alice. Here William is showing Alice the new train set.

Oliver was a little more interested in the icing of his cupcake than the trainset.

After several games of hospitals everyone curled up on the couch and went to sleep.
